Hands mobile

The images comprising this mobile come from the BSL dictionary which appeared serialised in the British Deaf Times as Pictorial Signs of the Silent Language.

The British Deaf Times was the heir, through several name changes, of The Deaf and Dumb Times which had been started in 1889. It ran to 1954 when it joined with Deaf News to form The British Deaf News.
