Heartbeats and Footprints is a gripping drama that follows Jane, a spirited woman grappling with a mysterious heart condition, and Dave, a wealthy tycoon in desperate need of a life-saving transplant. Set against the pulsating backdrop of modern healthcare and urgent environmental healthcare issues, the play explores the exhilarating highs and devastating lows of human resilience, mortality, and the heartbeats and footprints that connect us all.

At its heart, Heartbeats and Footprints is more than just a theatrical presentation—it's a call to action. This production invites audiences to contemplate the profound interconnectedness of our choices and their enduring effects on both human health and the environment, positioning itself as a catalyst for reflection and change.

The play is the creation of Noora Almarri, a UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering Impact Fellow, and PhD candidate in the bioelectronics group that is part of Electronic and Electrical engineering department at UCL. UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering Engagement Funds sponsors this show.
