Biological Sciences: Cell Biology modules

The Cell Biology degree is designed for those students who wish to take a cellular and molecular approach to the study of biology.

The range of topics covered, and the variety of skills that you will learn, will equip you for a wide choice of careers within the Biological Sciences and beyond. If you are interested in pursuing a research career either at a fundamental level or in applied sense to one of many outstanding issues in biological sciences, such as cancer, development, microbiology, immunology or ageing, then this degree should be your number one choice. Similarly, if you feel that ultimately you might wish to aim for postgraduate entry into medicine then this would provide a perfect background for you. The core program provides a thorough grounding in multiple aspects of modern cell biology and options allow preferred topic specialisation.
