Biological Sciences: Biodiversity and Conservation modules

The Biodiversity and Conservation degree provides a sound training in different aspects of Biology and will equip students with the skills and advantages for further postgraduate study or for the job market.
  • How organisms interact with their environment cannot be more topical.

  • The impact of man on the planet’s biodiversity; the effect of pollution; and the overriding problems connected to climate change are a few of the subjects that you will cover as part of this degree.

  • It focuses on plant and animal ecology, behaviour, and evolution as well as how organisms interact with the environment.

  • There is ample opportunity to gain practical skills on field module options to Norfolk, Lake District, Spain or the tropics (The latter trip is only available to students on the MSci programme. All planned field trips are subject to Covid restrictions).

Please Note: All Modules are subject to change.
