Dr Chika Nweke shortlisted for 2024 Engineering Talent Awards

The awards aim to raise the profile of engineering and technology professions across the UK and highlight diversity in engineering on a national platform. Through showcasing role models and inspiring people, the Awards will celebrate the diversity of organisations and engineers.
Dr Chika Nweke has been nominated for her work on the Integrated Engineering Programme on embedding equality, diversity & inclusion, sustainability, ethics, employability and other professional skills into the year one engineering curriculum. The winners will be announced at the gala awards dinner in London in September 2024.
Chika is an Associate Professor in the department of Biochemical Engineering, UCL and the departmental Director for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and Departmental Tutor. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), part of the IChemE Education Special Interest Group and SEFI Gender & Diversity Special Interest Group and Co-Chair of the Engineering Professor's Council EDI Community of Special Interest.
