Taster Lecture: Manufacturing Vaccines

The third and last lecture in the series at UCL Biochemical Engineering will be given by Research Fellow in Vaccine Process Analytics Dr Stephen Morris and Professor of Bioprocess Analysis Dan Bracewell on the subject of how vaccines are manufactured.

Dr Morris will outline the diverse nature of vaccines and the challenges their manufacture presents. Professor Bracewell will then explain how research carried out in the Department is meeting these challenges focusing on adenovirus-based vaccines for COVID-19. After this half-hour lecture, both Stephen and Dan will be available for questions and discussion.
