Call for Papers: The European Conference on Ageing and Gerontology (EGen2019)
25 June 2019
The European Conference on Ageing and Gerontology (EGen2019) has put out a call for papers. The early bird submission deadline is 31 July 2019.
The European Conference on Aging & Gerontology (EGen2019) is run in partnership with The International Academic Forum (IAFOR), the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA) at the University of Michigan, USA, and the IAFOR Research Centre at Osaka University, Japan. The conference will be hosted at UCL's Bartlett Real Estate Institute.
The EGen2019 conference theme will take the reflective concepts of “Independence and Interdependence” as its lens, exploring any number of questions and issues surrounding the independence and interdependence of individuals within society, and from a variety of disciplinary perspectives, from engineering and economics to sociology, politics and policy.
These are only a few of the broad themes on which we seek research papers and posters for EGen2019, and we welcome any paper or analysis which addresses the issues of Ageing and Gerontology.
The organisers encourage submissions that approach the conference theme from a variety of perspectives. However, the submission of other topics for consideration is welcome, and we also encourage sessions across a variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives.
Submissions are organised into the following thematic streams:
- Built Environment
- Transport, Mobility and Accessibility
- Resilience
- Loneliness
- Frailty
- Public policy
- Lifespan Health Promotion
- Entrepreneurship/Silver Economy
