Thoma Wiegelmann
Thomas Wiegelmann

Thomas is a managing director of Schroders Real Estate and has been working in the real estate industry since 1999 across consultancy, corporate finance and investment management.

In 2009 Thomas - together with his two partners - was co-founder and managing director of the real estate investment boutique BLUE Asset Management. By the end of 1Q 2019, the company managed EUR 1.2 bln of assets on behalf of its clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In May 2019 Schroders acquired the shares in BLUE Asset Management to reinforce Schroders’ private assets capabilities and to further strengthen its presence and expertise in the DACH region to serve the company’s global investor base. Schroders is a leading global investment manager operating from 37countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Africa and over 200 years history. Schroders employs more than 5,000 people and is responsible for EUR 815 bln of client assets (as of June 2021).

Thomas received his PhD from Bond University (Australia) and graduated from a post-graduate real estate program at European Business School. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, having graduated from the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) in 2017. He sits on the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Board. Thomas participated in the International Directors Program (IDP) at Insead Business School in 2021.

Thomas has a keen interest in development and changes in the real estate industry and the way it is affected by technological innovation. As such, he is involved with tech start-ups and is advisor to the global early-stage venture capital firm Antler.

Chris Urwin
Chris Urwin

Chris is an investment strategist, market analyst and researcher. He is driven by conviction that innovative analysis in private markets can reveal persistent inefficiencies and identify significant opportunities to deliver sustained investment outperformance.

Leveraging his understanding of economics, investment theory and urban studies, Chris has a proven track record of driving superior outcomes in real assets through strategic thinking, research and analysis. His experience includes over 13 years in investment management at Aviva Investors, one of Europe’s largest owners of real assets, plus several more years working in global real estate and urban policy. Chris is the Founder and Lead Contributor at Real Global Advantage.

Brad Altberger
Brad Altberger

Brad has been an active investor in real estate, mortgage portfolios and companies both professionally and personally for more than two decades.

Brad was a London based Managing Director of GI Partners from 2005 to 2019 where he sat on the Investment Committees of funds with more than $3 billion of equity commitments. At GI Partners, he led corporate as well as real estate investments and took active board roles and Chairmanships of portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm, he held positions with Nomura’s U.S. based commercial mortgage arm and its London-based Principal Finance Group. Early in his career, he was with Arthur Andersen’s Structured Finance Group. Brad has been involved in the acquisition and/or disposition of more than $10 billion of assets including, real estate, mortgage portfolios and companies.

In addition, in his personal capacity, Brad has invested in real estate, mortgage portfolios and companies in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States.

Brad holds a B.S. cum laude in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Victoria Ormond
Victoria Ormond, CFA

Victoria is a Partner in the capital markets research team at Knight Frank. Drawing on over fifteen years of real estate experience, Victoria develops market leading insight, thought leadership, commentary and analysis, including for the flagship publication, Active Capital.

Prior to joining Knight Frank, Victoria was Senior Research Analyst at Savills Investment Management.

Victoria began her real estate career with seven years at RBS, where she worked as Associate Director in origination for Pan-European commercial real estate portfolios before joining its German Restructuring team.

At Bayfield Training, she has also been involved in the design and delivery of real estate courses for major commercial real estate fund managers, lenders, investors and lawyers. Additionally, since 2011, Victoria has been a supervisor and guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge, covering areas including real estate finance, valuation, urban economics and statistics.

Michael Creamer
Michael Creamer

Michael is a global corporate property expert and has worked in New York for 13 years; Asia Pacific for 2 and the UK since 2000. He has set up and grown new business lines focused on corporate real estate, ensuring profitability and a strong market presence. He is also the Chairman of C&W's Global Occupier Services business in EMEA

Michael is an Associate Professor at Oxford Brookes University, teaching the corporate real estate module and have a podcast called 'What's Next in Corporate Real Estate'. He sits on the Real Estate Committee of King's College.

He has served as a Board member of CoreNet Global as well as the UK Chapter. Additionally Michael is a past President of the RICS in North America.

Specialties: Strategic Corporate property advice for large multinationals ensuring their real estate portfolio aligns to business goals and drivers at a global and regional level.
