Martin Rodriguez Rocha

Martin Rodriguez Rocha is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

For the last three years, innovation in the public sector has been Martin's passion. He has been part of the Public Innovation Team at the National Planning Department of Colombia and the Innovation Team of United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) promoting and developing an innovative mindset in the public sector and territorial institutions of the country to address complex social challenges and finding more and better solutions. As an anthropologist and designer, he is interested in creativity as a process for public policy development and as a driver to generate new ideas, concepts, and implement impact-oriented solutions. Martin grew up in Bogotá and his experience has focused mainly in social research, user experience, human centered and participatory design.
