Kazuhiro Naito

Kazuhiro Naito is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Kazuhiro Naito
Kazu is a policymaker and a service designer whose passion is to drive innovation in the world. As a government official in Japan, he engaged in launching Japan’s first mission-oriented R&D program, ‘Moonshot’, and realised the impact and the difficulty of setting up a lively vision of a future society that engages people. Last year, he took a leap to join a Master’s programme at the Royal College of Art, where he studied service design and speculative design methods. At UCL, he hopes to deepen his understanding of innovation policy and find effective methodologies to make the world more innovative through discussion with brilliant faculties and classmates in IIPP.
