Joe Morrisroe is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Joe is a UK Civil Servant with expertise in climate policy, trade policy, strategy, diplomacy and negotiations. Most recently he worked on the UK’s COP Presidency, designing and delivering the Breakthrough Agenda - a world leader agreement to accelerate the innovation and deployment of clean technologies globally. He also led the UK’s international climate policy on industry and buildings. Joe is interested in how Governments create and shape markets to accelerate clean technology transitions whilst delivering fairer, more regenerative economies. He was recently Chair of a charity in East London providing coaching and employment advice to young people. He holds a degree in Peace and Development Studies from the University of Bradford.
