Cristobal Valenzuela Cortes

Cristobal Valenzuela Cortes is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Cristóbal gained his bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidad de Chile and completed two diplomas in Economics and Public Economic Law. His career journey includes significant involvement in politics, where he has managed multiple electoral campaigns. Prior to embarking on the MPA program at the IIPP, Cristóbal served as an advisor to the Minister of the Interior and Public Security in the Chilean government.  His professional interests centre around public policies, fostering innovation within the public sector, and exploring the State's pivotal role in tackling the challenges confronting contemporary societies.
