Aaron Baum is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Aaron is interested in achieving just transitions in the face of the climate and biodiversity crises. Before coming to UCL, he spent the bulk of the past year backpacking through South America, making wine and working as a freelance journalist. His professional experience includes four years as a high school teacher in Washington, DC. Aaron enjoys exploring the world through birds, books, and wines. He grew up in Michigan and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duke University.
