PhD student Yuqi Liu wins AAG Outstanding Student Paper Award

The Bartlett School of Planning is pleased to announce that one of its PhD students, Yuqi Liu, has been awarded the 2014 Outstanding Student Paper Award by the China Geography Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers (AAG).
Yuqi's paper is entitled 'Neighbourhood Attachment,Neighbourly Interaction and Community Participation within the context of Urban Village Redevelopment: A Case Study of Guangzhou, China'.
The award was presented to Yuqi at the AAG annual convention in Tampa, Florida on 12 April 2014.
The AAG China Geography Specialty Group is committed to promoting the study of the geography of China, including Taiwan, and to serve as a clearinghouse of information for persons interested in Chinese geography. It serves to increase contacts with Chinese geographers and encourage professional activities, including the development of research projects.
