We're Hiring: Communications and Marketing Manager

The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications and Marketing Manager to lead on coordination of all the School’s internal and external communications, media and events activity, taking charge of overseeing and delegating the day-to-day operation of website, media, news, events and other more forward-facing aspects of communications for a variety of audiences. They will proactively take the lead on the marketing of 11 postgraduate taught courses and four PhD programmes.

The post holder will be in a unique position to see the extent of BSEER’s research, so the successful candidate will be expected to have some media management experience in order to maximise the potential for positive media coverage of BSEER’s work as a way to attract top staff and students.

Key Requirements

Educated to undergraduate degree level, the successful candidate will have substantial experience of communications, including public relations and media, managing websites and social media. The post holder will have a track record in managing and delivering top quality strategic student marketing campaigns in a Higher Education environment. They will have a strong understanding of websites, social media and multimedia, and how they can be used for marketing. In addition, they will have a record of successful line management and development of staff with proven team leadership and motivational skills or appropriate training with a view to stepping up to line management.
