UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Sustainable Heritage.

The UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage (ISH) delivers sustainable solutions to real-world problems concerning cultural heritage, working with external partners on ground-breaking, cross-disciplinary research and innovative teaching for future heritage leaders. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Sustainable Heritage to support the ongoing development of the Institute’s research and teaching activities. The post is available for 12 months at 100% FTE (36.5 hours per week) or for 44 months at 0.5 FTE (18.25 hours per week).

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate for the post should have a research interest in cultural heritage and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team. Educated to a PhD degree level (or an extensive relevant publication record commensurate with their experience) in applied metrology, conservation, digital heritage, environmental design and engineering, forecasting methods and applications, heritage management, preventive conservation, social science, statistics. They should also have demonstrable experience of high quality research in a subject relevant to the research and teaching areas outlined in the job description.
