SEAHA student Panos Andrikopoulos has been named as one of the 40 under 40 most promising lighting designers in the Lighting Design Awards.

40under40

The 20 men and 20 women – selected from over 250 applications – come from 16 different countries, including Iceland, Turkey, Australia, India, China, Brazil, the US, Mexico and Sweden.

The 40 professionals were selected by a team of prominent judges including Heinrich Hermann, Adjunct Professor, Department of Interior Architecture, Rhode Island School of Design; Leni Schwendinger, Associate Principal, Arup and Ray Molony, publisher, Lighting magazine.

Panos’ achievement comes as a recognition of his SEAHA funded research at UCL Institute of Sustainable Heritage, using novel psychophysiological methods for lighting research and design.
