The monograph Dispute Management in Heritage Conservation: The Case of In Situ Museums authored by Dr Kalliopi Fouseki has now been published.
The book examines the nature of disputes related to the in situ conservation of archaeological remains within basements of contemporary buildings. A novel, interdisciplinary approach merging negotiation theories with heritage management practices is introduced. Kalliopi discusses examples of in situ conservation of archaeological remains in contemporary private and public buildings including museums from across Europe with special emphasis on the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece.
