ISH Director takes on role of Bartlett Vice Dean (Public Policy)

27 April 2016

Cassar-Plowden

The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, has announced Professor May Cassar will take on the role of Vice Dean (Public Policy). Professor Cassar took up her position in April 2016, acting as The Bartlett’s representative on the new OVPR Public Policy Board.

Vice Deans perform a vital function at UCL and increasingly so as the Vice Provost roles have become a more strategic element of the way that UCL functions to deliver the 2034 strategy.

As Vice Dean, Professor Cassar will support policy engagement activity in The Bartlett, as well as work with other UCL departments to identify areas of activity and opportunities for enhancing policy engagement and impact.

Professor Cassar said, “I am honoured to be Vice Dean (Public Policy) which, in addition to my own contribution, recognises the commitment from the whole of ISH to policy impact”.
