Duties and Responsibilities

The UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment is the UK’s leading multidisciplinary faculty of the built environment, covering architecture, construction and project management, planning and environmental design as well as other specialist fields.

Set within UCL’s Faculty of The Built Environment, The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) is comprised of four world-class Institutes. The Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in the broad area of Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering to play a key role in our current and future research and teaching programmes. The successful candidate will also serve as the Programme Lead of the MSc in Smart Buildings and Digital Engineering following a training period in which the candidate will be shadowing the current Programme Lead.

Key Requirements

A PhD in a subject relevant to a research area in the job description or commensurate relevant experience together with a track record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed academic journals or other high-quality research outputs is essential. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in one or more of the areas outlined in the job description.
