Vacancy: Senior research fellow in systems thinking

We're looking for a Senior Research Fellow in systems thinking to join our team at the UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering.
The UCL IEDE's research tackles some of the greatest and most complex issues facing our daily environment. We are interested in making our buildings, towns and cities better places in which to live, with a focus on health, human well-being, productivity, energy use and climate change. The post holder will work with the existing team to develop, design and deliver a body of high quality research to help transform scientific understanding of the systemic nature of a sustainable built environment. She or he will work with existing stakeholders and developing new relationships across policy, academia, NGOs and community organisations.
This employment offer is for 12 months in the first instance. Further funding to support the post may be available.
Key requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD or commensurate experience and a track record of high quality research. She or he needs to have expertise in systems thinking, ideally system dynamics modelling, and experience in participatory and qualitative research. Experience in working in multi-and interdisciplinary environments is also desirable. We are looking for a passionate individual with an interest in fostering sustainability and wellbeing.
