Dr Marcella Ucci attends the launch of APPG White Paper

Dr Ucci was one of 4 expert contributors who hosted the questions and answers debate in ‘Zone 2’, which pertained recommendations on New Buildings (i.e. Recommendation 2 of the White Paper).  Previously, Dr Ucci provided oral evidence, in her capacity of Chair of the UK Indoor Environments Group  (UKIEG), on the 21st Nov 2017 to the APPG’s consultation on their Green Paper – her evidence is acknowledged throughout the White Paper (evidence section). 

Her contribution to the important policy area of healthy buildings and indoor environments has been long lasting, as evidenced for example by her role in the Workshop for Policy Makers held in July 2016 at the Department of Health in London and supported by Professor the Baroness Finlay of Llandaff and by acting as panellist in the joint UKIEG and APPG Healthy Homes and Buildings event also supported by the Gas Safety Trust, the Local Authority Building Control, and UCL Public Policy, on the 20 March 2018 on “Driving integration: Healthy Homes and Buildings.
