First Annual wholeSEM Conference

13 March 2014

wholeSEM

The whole systems energy modelling consortium (wholeSEM) will host its first Annual Conference at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 8th and 9th July 2014. The conference ‘Modelling Long-term UK Energy Futures: Challenges and Competing Objectives’ will focus on modelling and modelling insights, taking the latest UK government long term pathways and analysing these from alternate modelling perspectives taken from the wholeSEM consortium.

wholeSEM is a ground breaking multi-institution initiative to develop, integrate and apply state-of-the-art energy models. The consortium, funded by EPSRC, is led by University College London and consists of Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge and the University of Surrey.

For further information about the conference, or to register your interest to attend, please contact wholeSEM’s Centre Manager Liz Milner.
