The main aim of the 'Emerging TOGETHER Science for efficient buildings' project is to initiate academic cooperation within the Bartlett and wider UCL by the means of workshops which would lead to a new approach in building design and operation based on complex system theory.

Other additional collaborators on the project are: Dr Sophia Psarra, Reader of Architecture and Spatial Design at Bartlett School of Graduate Studies,
Professor Steven Bishop from the UCL Department of Mathematics and
Dr Philippe Duffour, Lecturer in the UCL Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering Department.

The Bartlett Grand Challenges Small Grants Scheme has been set up to fund activities that lead to, or support, interdisciplinary research collaborations in the Built Environment which are in line with the with the Bartlett Faculty Research Strategy.
