Professor Ekins presents at GGKP conference
18 January 2012
Professor Paul Ekins presented at the first day of the inaugural Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) in Mexico City on 12 January 2012. The platform is aimed at enhancing and expanding efforts to address major knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice, and to help countries design and implement policies to move towards a green economy.
At the event, Professor Ekins presented ‘Measuring Well-Being and Performance: Purpose, Measures and Policy’ to more than 120 leading scholars and practitioners.
The conference aimed to take stock of the current understanding of the economics of green growth; engage researchers and practitioners in an on-going dialogue to increase understanding of how green growth approaches can be applied in the field.
