Professor Priti Parikh elected to be Trustee for Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)

Professor Priti Parikh has been elected to be a Trustee for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) from November 2023.

The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction's Acting Director, Professor Priti Parikh has been elected to be a Trustee for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) from November 2023. The Trustee Board is comprised of 12 trustees, who are responsible for the leadership and management of the of the global institution and ICE voting members directly elect members to the Trustee Board.

The Institution of Civil Engineers are a 95,000-strong global membership organisation with over 200 years of history. They work as a voice for civil engineers and those working in infrastructure to promote the importance of the work they do for society. The institution helps the industry learn and share their knowledge, so that they can maintain the natural and built environment. They also promote the essential contribution that civil engineers make to society worldwide.

Professor Priti Parikh said: It is an honour to be elected as a Trustee for Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). I started my journey as a practising civil engineer in India to now an academician campaigning for more action and investment in infrastructure. So, this is truly a huge milestone for me. I look forward to working with the brightest minds in engineering and construction and with fabulous incoming ICE Presidents.”
