12 July 2022
BSSC is pleased to announce that Prof. Priti Parikh will be temporarily taking on the role of acting Director of the BSSC from 1 September to 31 December 2022.
Prof. D’Maris Coffman will be taking a short sabbatical from her role as Director of the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction (BSSC) in Term One, Autumn 2022. This is a long-planned sabbatical enabling her to focus on her research priorities for one term. BSSC is pleased to announce that Prof. Priti Parikh will be taking on the role of acting Director of the BSSC from 1 September to 31 December 2022, in a temporary capacity during D’Maris’s sabbatical.
Priti has recently been promoted to Professor of Infrastructure Engineering and International Development and has expertise in infrastructure (water, sanitation and energy) for resource constrained settings such as slums and rural communities in Africa and Asia. She is also leading research on developing evidence base to link SDG's and infrastructure.
Christoph Lindner, Dean of The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, said: “I look forward to working with Priti as she leads the BSSC in the new academic year, and to welcoming her to the Bartlett faculty leadership team.”
