BSSC undergraduate students win awards for their outstanding academic performance

BSc Project Management for Construction students, George Hake, Anson Au and Elaine Yeung, have won awards from the School for their outstanding academic performance this academic year.

Following the meeting of the Board of Examiners for the BSc Project Management for Construction programme (2021/2022) which met on 21 June 2022, The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction decided to give out three awards to the undergraduate students

George Hake was awarded The Stace Prize. This prize is awarded annually to a second-year student on the basis of overall excellence. The board was impressed with George's outstanding academic performance as well as his excellent attendance and engagement record. Anson Au was awarded the BSSC School Scholarship for Outstanding Second Year Student and Elaine Yeung was awarded the CIOB Certificate of Excellence which is given to the final year student with the highest graduation mark.

George Hake said : “I am delighted to receive this award and I am grateful to Stace for sponsoring the prize and the examiners for selecting me”.

Anson Au said : “I am grateful to receive this award and hence motivated to continue pushing in my studies and professional development”.

Dr. Mustafa Selçuk Çıdık Undergraduate Program Leader said: “I would like to congratulate our three award-winning students for their outstanding achievements. More than everyone else, it has been our students who have been affected by the changes and challenges caused by Covid 19 pandemic during the last two years. Despite such challenging circumstances, Elaine, Anson and George managed to achieve extraordinary results in their modules and extra-curricular activities. Well done and well deserved!
