BSSC Student named finalist for Built Environment Undergraduate of the Year Award 2022

BSc Project Management for Construction Student, Ali Aljadri, has been shortlisted as a finalist for The Built Environment Undergraduate of the Year Award 2022.

The Undergraduate of the Year Awards is an annual competition aimed at finding the best undergraduates in the UK. Each award is partnered by a prominent graduate recruiter who provides a fantastic prize for the winner, including a paid internship, trips abroad and other exclusive opportunities.

AECOM, the award partner for Built Environment Undergraduate of the Year have announced Ali as one of their finalists for this year. Ali has been chosen out of 100’s of applicants that applied after completing an online application and psychometric tests and is the only nominee from UCL. 

Ali commented: “I feel honoured to represent my cohort as a Finalist in The Undergraduate of The Year 2022 Awards for the Built Environment in Canary Wharf. My career aim in construction is to meaningfully engage in developing a better future for myself, my family, and my community. In the finals of the awards, I will be assessed on criteria observant of my: eagerness, initiative, creativeness, mindfulness of sustainability, teamwork, and drive. Winning the award will be a monumental symbol of my hard work, since my family’s migration from Holland.”

The finalists have been invited to an award ceremony where the winner will be announced on the 29th April 2022.
