The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction (UCL) and The International Project Management Association (IPMA) announce the next global keynote of The IPMA-UCL Megaproject CEO series. Coordinated by UCL’s Dr. Juliano Denicol, Global Head of the IPMA Megaprojects SIG, the IPMA-UCL Megaproject CEO invites a stellar group of leaders that are at the forefront of megaproject delivery practices. The Megaproject CEO builds upon the growing interest in leadership practices and recent research that recommends an emphasis on building and leading collaborations to advance our understanding of megaproject delivery.

Dr Juliano Denicol, IPMA Global Head Megaprojects SIG said: "We are delighted to welcome Beth West, Chief Executive Officer of East West Rail. The East West Rail project will establish a rail link between Cambridge and Oxford to improve connections between East Anglia and central, southern, and western England. East West Rail’s purpose is to unlock sustainable economic growth – attracting investment to the UK, connecting businesses, creating jobs, and making the communities between Oxford and Cambridge a place that people want to live, work, and settle down. East West Rail will have a pivotal role in helping to unlock the economic opportunity in the Oxford-Cambridge region, which could be worth over £100 billion in additional value every year by 2050. East West Rail will also improve connectivity and make it easier to reach some of the UK’s main airports."
