This short course has been cancelled for 2021 in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
An intensive week of making, available exclusively to Bartlett Summer School and Summer Studio participants.

Introduction
The Maker's Week is a one-week course introducing students to new architectural materials and skills, working with B-made, The Bartlett Manufacturing and Design Exchange.
The course is taught through a series of workshops guided by our teaching staff and is an additional extra for our Summer School or Summer Studio participants. It is taught in groups and will not focus on individual projects.
About the course
On this course students can choose a material such as clay, cast, timber or metal to work with intensively through a series of exercises. Through various workshops students will gain a deeper understanding of their chosen material and experiment with a series of other materials.
Students will be given an induction to the tools and machinery, led by our highly trained teaching staff. There will also be an option to gain computer skills and learn about how to use render programmes, VR and film to create and design.
Is it for me?
We're looking for applications from motivated students who are passionate about architecture and design. Applicants will ideally have a high level of computing and design skills.
