New B-Pro Summer Workshop in Partnership with Universidad Europea
23 May 2022
This summer, Bartlett tutors will be partnering with the Universidad Europea to run a workshop exploring new design and computational methods for automated manufacturing.
A new two-week workshop, entitiled Objects of the Mundane, will allow postgraduate students to explore new design and computational technologies to transform the mundane into objects of excitement through sustainable manufacturing methods this summer. The workshop will be taught in two locations in Spain, Avila and Madrid, running from 11–22 July 2022.
The workshop marks a significant partnership between B-Pro or Bartlett Prospective and the Universidad Europea, in collaboration with robotic 3D printing company Nagami. Tutorials and lectures will be given by renowned professionals and academics from the fields of architecture, digital design, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing.
The workshop costs 950 Euros to attend, with limited scholarship places for Bartlett students studying one of the B-Pro programmes.
About B-Pro and Universidad Europea
B-Pro, or Bartlett Prospective, is a suite of graduate programs focusing on experimentation in computation, design, and urban environments, offered at The Bartlett School of Architecture. The courses explore the most advanced experimental research in design and fabrication while critically study the large scale of the urban and global communities.
The Universidad Europea (UEM) seeks to provide the students with a holistic education, shaping leaders and professionals prepared to respond to the demands of a global world, who will add value to their professional fields and contribute to social progress with their entrepreneurial spirit and ethical values.
