Bartlett Research Presented at Media Architecture Biennale

The Media Architecture Biennale brings together international practitioners, academics, and government and industry professionals to explore how technology and digital media can create smarter cities.

PhD candidates Yuhan Ji, Ecem Ergin, Moritz Behrens, Efstathia Kostopoulou and Konstantinos Mavromichalis and Urban Design MArch alumna Vanessa Panagiotopoulou presented their research at the Media Architecture Biennale 2018 in Beijing.
Bartlett Professor of Media Architecture & Urban Digital Interaction, Ava Fatah Gen. Schieck chaired the academic conference at the Biennale, which discussed the topic of Digital Infrastructure at the Scale of the Hybrid City, and was also a member of the award jury. Ava teaches Master’s students on The Bartlett's Architectural Computation MSc/MRes programmes and is a PhD supervisor for Architectural Space & Computation.
The Media Architecture Biennale 2018 took place from 13 – 16 November 2018 at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing.
