The Bartlett in P.E.A.R. no.6

PEAR no. 6

Issue of no.6 of P.E.A.R.: Paper for Emerging Architectural Research, edited by Bartlett Lecturer Matthew Butcher, will be launched on Thursday 20 February. The issue, centred on the theme of Landscape/Ecology, will feature contributions from other Bartlett staff including Jonathan Hill, Laura Allen and Mark Smout, Peg Rawes, Adrian Lahoud, Yeoryia Manolopoulou, and Pascal Bronner and Tom Hillier.

There will be a launch event from 6.30-9pm on 20 February at the British Council, Spring Gardens, London, SW1A 2BN. The launch is free to attend but places are limited, RSVP is essential via info@pearmagazine.eu by 17th February.

Issue no.6 will be in the shops in early February and the full list of contributors is:

P.E.A.R. (Paper for Emerging Architectural Research) aims to re-establish the fanzine as a primary medium for the dissemination of architectural ideas, musings, research and works, and to present the complexity and variety of architectural practice.

P.E.A.R. is sold in over 40 countries worldwide. In London, it is stocked in bookshops including Foyles on Charing Cross Road, Artwords Bookshop on Rivington Street, The AA Bookshop, RIBA Bookshop and Walther Koenig Books at the Serpentine. The paper is also distributed internationally and can be found at Walther Koenig Books and PRO qm in Berlin, Tema in Lisbon and Museum of Modern Art in New York. It is also available in Taipei, Melbourne, Istanbul and Auckland.
