DESCRIPTION

Portable Gallery is a lightweight demountable travelling gallery commissioned by UCL Museum's Outreach Programme. It is made of a series of modular components which enables easy installation in different locations to display museum artefact for public engagement activities. The mirror interior creates an immersive environment for display and conversation and feels much larger than its physical size through use of optical illusion. The lighting is powered by a 3-pin plug into mains power and has its own rechargeable battery for more remote locations.
