About
This year's annual Summer Show Family Day will host interactive work stations and structured on a drop-in basis. Suitable for young people aged 4-10 to enjoy with their parents or guardians.
Our café will be open throughout the event selling a range of refreshments for all the family.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians throughout our Family Day and parents or guardians must be present at all times.
Programme
The structure of the sessions will run as drop in workshops. Please note, there will be a break in the afternoon from activities between 1pm - 2pm.
11:00 - 16:00 | Exploratory Treasure Hunt
Explore the Summer Show exhibition with our activity sheet to look for the clues across all of the floors.
Location: Ground Floor - Sixth Floor, 22 Gordon Steet.
11:00 - 16:00 | Interactive Workshop
Drop in sessions. Colouring activity sheet and clay brick making.
Location: 3.08SN and 3.08S, 22 Gordon Steet.
12:00 - 16:00 | Colour Workshop
Bartlett AIS students, Yiwen Zhao and Tea Texier will present their Colour Workshop using their inks and pigments. Tea Texie uses blue flowers to extract pigments as a ritual to map the cracks in the pavement of London. Yiwen Zhao studies perception and control of natural spaces with inspriation from traditional Chinese ink paintings. The workshop will be fun and engaging with activities for everyone regardless of age and skills.
