The Bartlett School of Architecture
This event is for students interested in studying Bio-Integrated Design (Bio-ID) MArch/MSc at The Bartlett School of Architecture, two Master’s programmes that explore the effect of computation, biotechnology and climate change on urban design.
Join us to hear from Programme Directors Professor Marcos Cruz and Dr Brenda Parker, who will introduce the two-year programmes and explain the unique way in which they combine scientific methods with design experimentation in a shared space of design studios, science laboratories and fabrication workshops. They will present a series of interdisciplinary projects that embrace a wide range of expertise, including high-end design and digital simulations; biology and lab protocols; multifunctional materials and fabrication; environment and space.
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about studying and researching at The Bartlett in an interactive Q&A session. We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds, including architecture, biosciences, computer science and biology, engineering, art, planning and product and textile design.
