Proto-Post-Digital Chrysalis
Lecturer's Abstract
If the ‘digital’ is a caterpillar – still voracious and rapidly growing – the ‘post-digital’ is a chrysalis, representative of astonishing metamorphosis.
In his lecture, Marjan Colletti discusses his research into the computer as a vehicle for architectural experimentation and aesthetic investigation from the past twenty years. He explores how over this period of time, digitality has drastically advanced, yet its appeal has faded and is now challenged by the concept of post-digitality.
