First year Engineering and Architectural Design MEng students are designing, making and testing pavilions located around Here East exploring the theme of ‘Tribal Gathering’ over a 24-hr period. The aim is to design and make an original structure to be analysed using the framework of experimental engineering and architecture. Each project supports a deeper understanding of the design process from concept to completion. The students produce research from the perspective of structural, environmental and architectural experience.
The projects will be open for viewing on 13th March. They will be displayed in and around our space at Here East and academics, local business and the public are all invited to view them.
From 6.30pm, join us for a celebration of Tribal Gathering with music, lights, drinks and performances.
