Due to the nature of the BASc Programme offering courses from varying departments, it is important that students have a space of their own where they can partake in private study, group work or social activity. The BASc Common Room is designed for this exact use and is solely for Arts and Sciences students. The Common Room is usually a hive of activity where students share ideas and engage in debate which helps to foster the interdisciplinary ethos of the programme even further.

The Arts and Sciences Society is the BASc student society which organises an array of social activities such as film nights, music nights and culture-sharing events. For more information about the Society and to see what they have been up to recently, see the Arts and Sciences Society Facebook page.
