Kate Luxion

Kate Luxion, MFA, MPH, LCCE, FHEA is a non-binary researcher focusing on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) reproductive health and parenting. Within the department, Kate is presently serving in the role of Research Fellow in Creative Global Health under the direction of Dr Ranjita Dhital on the ACE project. This project is seeking to better understand harmful alcohol use in Lalitpur Nepal.

In addition, Luxion serves as Executive Director of the Journal of Reproductive Justice, a non-profit organization whose aim is providing inclusive resources and education for LGBTQ+ families and the providers who serve them. When not researching or writing, they teach while advocating for the inclusion and support of LGBTQ+ students. Luxion can also be found working on art with their partner and kiddo.
