Emmy Pu at Laidlaw Scholars' Conference

A second-year History of Art undergraduate, Emmy Pu, was one of two students selected to represent UCL at the ‘Three Minute Thesis’ competition on Saturday 12 October 2019 as part of the third annual Laidlaw Scholars’ Conference. The 2019 conference was organised and hosted by UCL, and featured 200 staff and students from thirteen universities.
Emmy is a Laidlaw Scholar currently undertaking a research project with the History of Art Department on the significance of colour red in both Imperial China and the British Empire. Laidlaw scholars are ambitious undergraduate students who undertake a programme of activities during their three years of study. Her project is being supervised by Dr Natasha Eaton.
