Talkshop Mark Godfrey, Tate curator, will talk about his installation of the new Arte Povera room at Tate Modern.  This forms the central gallery on Level Five which used to house the minimalist works by Andre Judd Morris and son.  He will discuss the issues that have arisen from this reconfiguration of the space and the major shift away from US to European (mainly) work.

'Frieze and its dis/contents:  questioning contemporary art'

In this first discussion forum, we ask about the what? why? when? where? who? of contemporary art.  With the upcoming Frieze art fair looming, we discuss issues raised about the sites and spaces of display of art now and consider what possibilities exist for critical distance.
