Past Imperfect Potluck: Violence and Peace Within Violence

Join us for the first Past Imperfect Potluck of the year!

Our theme for the year is “Violence” and our theme for the term is “Peace within Violence”. If you’ve never been to one of our potlucks before, this is how it works – you submit an image which broadly relates to the theme of the year or the term, then on the day, you say a few words about the image and how it relates to your research interests for up to 3 minutes, and we open it up to the group for a short discussion. It’s a great opportunity to get some new ideas in a very low-stakes, low-effort way.

As this is a lunchtime event, feel free to bring your lunch with you if you would like. Open to everyone, from undergraduates to staff. You are also welcome to come, listen and discuss even if you are not contributing an image.
