A message from Professor Jonathan Bell, director of the Institute of the Americas, UCL, to all our finishing undergraduates:

‘On behalf of all of us at the Institute of the Americas, I’d like to congratulate our graduating cohort on our BA degree in the History and Politics of the Americas, 2021. Launching our undergraduate degree has been an exciting departure for us, and our first group of students to study on the programme will always have a special place in the story of our department. We all wish you the very best for the future, and hope you will keep in touch and consider yourselves forever part of the community at the Institute of the Americas and UCL.’
