Congratulations to Jonathan Bartho on his successful viva

Jonathan Bartho

We are delighted to announce the successful PhD examination of our student Jonathan Bartho, whose work was commended for its high academic quality.

Jonathan says: ‘I’m very pleased to have finished my PhD, the process has been hard work but extremely rewarding. I've really enjoyed studying at the Institute and being part of such a supportive and friendly academic community.’ 

The title of Jonathan's thesis is 'Whistling Dixie: Ronald Reagan, the White South, and the Transformation of the Republican Party'. His supervisors were Professor Iwan Morgan and Professor Jonathan Bell.
