Professor Maxine Molyneux elected Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences

The Academy of Social Sciences is the national academy of academics, learned societies and practitioners in the social sciences. Its mission is to promote social science in the United Kingdom for the public benefit.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Maxine Molyneux has just been conferred the award of Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. She is one of six top academics and scholars from UCL elected for their outstanding contributions to research, and for their application of social science to policy, education, society and the economy. We are really thrilled to see Professor Molyneux's brilliant and genuinely pioneering research career recognised in this way and we warmly congratulate her on this achievement.

Maxine Molyneux is Professor of Sociology at UCL Institute of the Americas.
