A Celebration Roundtable for Iwan Morgan

18 December 2019

Join us to celebrate the career of Professor Iwan Morgan, who retires from University College London in 2020.

Professor Iwan Morgan

As well as serving as the Commonwealth Fund Professor of American History at UCL since 2012, Iwan Morgan’s career has spanned posts at the University of London, London Metropolitan University and Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. He served as the first Chair of Historians of the Twentieth Century United States (HOTCUS) between 2007 and 2013, and has been awarded honorary fellowship of the British Association for American Studies and distinguished fellowship of the Rothermere American Centre at the University of Oxford.

In order to celebrate Iwan's impressive career and invaluable contribution to the fields of presidential history, fiscal policy history, and film history, UCL Institute of the Americas will be organising a roundtable with a select line-up of experts and friends. This event will take place on May 14, 2020. We will publicise more details and how to register nearer the time.
