Turing Fellows 2024

UCL Turing Fellows announced

In March 2024, the Turing announced its new cohort of Turing Fellows. The Turing University Team are delighted to share the names of two new Turing Fellows from UCL - congratulations to them both!

Dr. Benjamin Guedj is Associate Professor and Principal Researcher at the UCL Centre for AI and Department of Computer Science, a tenured research scientist at Inria (the top French research institute in mathematics and computer science). Since 2020, he is the founder and scientific director of the Inria London Programme, a joint lab between France and the UK.

Dr. Elsa Arcaute is Professor of Complexity Science at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), and an Honorary Professor at Hong Kong University. She holds a master’s degree and a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Cambridge. Her main area of research involves studying urban systems and city processes through the lens of complexity science. Elsa is also a member of the UCL Turing University Liaison Team.

Ben and Elsa join the current cohort of UCL Turing Fellows which also includes:
