How to submit your paper, abstract or stand-alone presentation details.
Submission and Publication
** Note that as this is now a virtual/online conference we will be seeking sponsorship for the publication costs of any accepted papers that are presented virtually as part of the event **
We invite authors to submit papers describing original scientific research and applications.
1. Full papers, to be published in the ISPRS Annals. The submitted papers should report new or improved techniques, algorithms, benchmarks, technology developments, frameworks, and best practices, which are not published elsewhere. Papers will be evaluated on their originality, novelty, and impact and will be subjected to a double-blind review.
- Anonymize your submission
- Use the ISPRS template: https://www.isprs.org/documents/orangebook/app5.aspx
- Papers not accepted for the ISPRS Annals may be considered for the ISPRS Archives
2. Long abstracts (1000-1500 words). The submitted (extended) abstracts can be new or improved techniques, algorithms, benchmarks, technology developments, frameworks, and best practices, which are not published elsewhere, but they can also relate to professional/demo papers demonstrating innovative systems and practical approaches, or research in progress. Long abstracts will be subjected to a double-blind review. The abstracts on their own will not be published. If your abstract is accepted, it must then be extended into a full length paper for publication in the ISPRS Archives.
- Upload an anonymized PDF
- Use the ISPRS template: https://www.isprs.org/documents/orangebook/app5.aspx (you can use the title, leywords and abstract sections only if you like)
- If your abstract is accepted you will need to extend it for publication, using the full ISPRS template: https://www.isprs.org/documents/orangebook/app5.aspx
- Abstracts not accepted for the ISPRS Archives may be considered for stand-alone presentations
3. Stand-alone presentations (500-1000 words) can be accepted based on a submitted abstract that explains the content of the presentation. These should focus on demonstrations and practical approaches not suitable for publication in journal format, and can also be used to describe the practitioner perspective on 3D if practitioners do not wish to write a full journal article. These abstracts will not be published by ISPRS, but will be available via the conference website.
